$25K Raised for Local Cancer Research
Driftless Glen and partners raised over $25K in pink bourbon campaign donations for local cancer research in October 2022. Their pink bourbon campaign turned the labels on their flagship bourbon bottles pink for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
This past month was Breast Cancer Awareness Month. We thank you for your participation and support as we turned our Small Batch Bourbon bottles pink in October to raise funds and awareness for breast cancer! We really appreciate everybody who bought a bottle. Cheers to a cause that is near and dear to many of our hearts. Thousands of bottles of pink bourbon – 8,450 bottles to be exact – were sold across the country, with $3/bottle as the donation amount. In total, we are giving $25,350 to local cancer research, contributed by Driftless Glen, our distributors, and Citadel Beverages. In comparison, we sold 4,854 bottles in 2021 and donated $14,562 to local cancer research in 2021, so this second year of the campaign we nearly doubled our success! Funds from the 2022 campaign will be donated to the designated cancer research centers listed below in the coming weeks.
Driftless Glen Distillery: going to UW Carbone Cancer Center (specifically the Breast Cancer Research Greatest Need Fund)
Minnesota – Vinocopia: going to TBD
Illinois – Heritage Wine Cellars: going to Northwestern Medicine Kishwaukee Hospital Cancer Center (specifically the Northwestern Medicine Breast Health Fund)
Missouri – Breakthru Beverage Group: going to TBD
We believe that this second year of our #GoPinkWithDG campaign was a success. Again, we send our heartfelt thanks for your participation in our pink bourbon campaign. It is such a good cause and we are proud to make these great donations to local cancer research. Cheers, Driftless Glen!
