Bourbon Root Beer Float

It’s National Ice Cream Day on July 17th and what better way to beat the summer heat and celebrate than to make a Bourbon Root Beer Float!


Take the summertime classic treat and turn it up a notch – by adding Driftless Glen Bourbon. Perfect to enjoy on a hot, sunny day. The recipe is simple: In a frozen glass, add 2 scoops of ice cream. In a separate small cup, mix together 1/2 cup of root beer (or other carbonated soda of choice) and 1 oz Driftless Glen Bourbon. Pour the mixture over the ice cream and stir well. Serve with a spoon and a straw and enjoy!
